ZOMG! Can it BE?! Could I have possibly degenerated to fanart?! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
...
But seriously...
I've recently been on a Bizenghast binge and when you're sick at home with nothing better to do...well...let's just say it makes you do some pretty scary things.
Anyhow! I've been trying really hard lately to make full-page color pieces and it's killing my markers...T_T
But yes, this is Edrear's animal form. It's the oddest design I've come accross in the sense that I just HAD to draw this. (Some of my closer friends may or may not understand this better) Also, I had no color reference, so sorry M.Alice if I completly killed it!
Copic on card paper Edrear(c) to M.Alice LeGrow ((P.S. BIZENGHAST KICKS ARSE! XD ))
I've only read the first one or two volumes of Bizenghast, but found it pretty enjoyable. I can see why you felt you had to draw this -- it is very distinctive.
And hey, what's wrong with a little fanart now and then?
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
